What is the length and frequency of our sessions? Our standard sessions are 50 minutes and take place weekly. With new clients, I always schedule weekly sessions. With any less frequency I find it is difficult to build momentum towards meeting your goals while we’re still in the process of getting to know each other. As we work together, some clients find that once they’ve reached their primary goals, they only need to come every other week.
How much is the session fee and when do you take appointments? I charge $225 for a 50-minute session for both individual and couples. The fee is due at the time we meet by cash, check, or credit card. I work mornings until 2pm Monday through Thursday.
Is there a sliding scale? I offer a limited number of sliding scale appointments. I am happy to discuss further details over the phone.
Do you bill insurance? I do not bill insurance. However, I provide monthly superbills if you would like to submit them to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. You can check out my Insurance Guide to read helpful instructions on how to get the information you need from your health insurance company. Additionally, if you have a Health Savings Account (HSA) or “flex account” through your employer, you may be able to receive reimbursement from that account.
Where do I park? There is metered parking right out front of the office and along Sunset Blvd, as well as street parking on the neighboring residential streets. There is also a LA City lot behind the building on the Southwest side of the intersection of Sunset Blvd and Echo Park Lake.
Where is your office located and where do I go when I arrive? My office is located at the end of the entryway, marked Suite C. Make yourself at home in our waiting room at the end of the hall and I will greet you at your appointed time. I will provide you with more information about my office location and accessing the building prior to our first session.
How can I make an appointment? Prior to our first session, I like to speak to new clients on the phone for 10-20 minutes to make sure it’s a good fit.
